BOLTON WANDERERS are considering making an offer for Tottenham forward, Robbie Keane as they look to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
The Spurs striker has been out of favour at White Hart Lane of late and is looking for regular first team football. Keane, 30 spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United where he failed to prevent the Hammers from relegation.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle has confirmed he is in the market for strike reinforcement as Daniel Sturridge has returned to Chelsea following his loan spell at the club and Johan Elmander has left for Galatasaray this summer.
Keane has had a successful career scoring goals at all seven of his previous clubs and on international duty. The striker has also generated a combined £70 million transfer fee in his career, though no figures have been reported as of yet from the Trotters.
